Lights... Camera... Action! Terrific independent, foreign and avant-garde films can be seen at the Tampa Theatre on Franklin Street. This landmark facility is a member of the League of Historic American Theatres and has been showing films from a multitude of genres since 1926. If you'd like to drive to the movie theatre and never leave your car, go back in time and steer your way over to the Fun Lan Drive-In on East Hillsborough Avenue. It is one of the few premier drive-ins left in the United States and they have multiple screenings to choose from. The Tampa Pitcher Show is a fun place to take in a movie and a meal via their full menu and bar. A lounge with live music is also on premises for your enjoyment.
