If you first need to get to the Tampa Bay Area and would like to travel by rail, Amtrak has various routes in Florida in addition to it's many lines around the United States that can ultimately get you to the Sunshine State.

As you can see, the Tampa Amtrak Station has a centralized downtown location.  The station, its Ticket Office, and Checked Baggage Service is available from 8:15am to 6:15pm, Monday through Sunday.  Quik-Trak machines are operational from 8:15am to 6:30pm, Monday through Sunday.
